After years of playing, I have finally achieved insight enough to make a list with my Top 7 favorite trombone positions. I put my heart and soul into the selection process, and I am very happy with the result. If you disagree, please let me know in the comment section.

Just found this website! Love it!! But as a seasoned trombonist I must say that I’m fine with #1, #2, and even #3… But I think you’re leaving out the most important one. 2 1/2. The 2 and a half position is a favorite among those who don’t pay attention to the key signature. I’d drop 7th off this list :))
