This is a piece of music I wrote a couple of years back. It is excellent for trombone teachers – I have used it a lot with my younger students. It is written to sound like a “real” jazz tune that is fun to play, and not a beginner trombone exercise. The rhythms can be a bit challenging for younger students. Try clapping or singing them before playing on their instrument.
I made two backing tracks for it, one in tempo 90 and the other in tempo 110.
