Brand new members area for DigitaltTombone

Anders here, trombone player / educator and founder of Digitaltrombone. I’ve been working on a better way to present the member content, and the result is a brand new members web app.

Rebuilt and redesigned members area

It’s not in the App Store or Google Play (yet), but it behaves very much like an app. Faster, cleaner, and much easier to use.

The goal was simple: make it easier for you to get to the material, stay focused, and spend more time actually practicing, leading to better results, leading to a happier life. And happy life, happy wife, right? Or did I get that mixed up?

In short, DigitalTrombone has gone from feeling 2016 to 2026, and I am very happy with the result. You should no longer feel the urge to print the trombone sheet music to paper (althogh you still can) but comfortably read it on screen.

What the new members web app does

  • Presents member content in a modern, structured layout
  • Makes it easier to find topics, lessons, and favorites
  • Gives you a clean, full-screen experience on mobile and tablet
  • Removes friction, so you spend more time playing, and less clicking

I’m there for you, personally

Besides the huge catalog of original trombone content for players on all levels and from all genres, what makes DigitalTrombone stand out, is the direct access to professional trombone coaching. The big red button Trombone Emergency Room lets you write to me about anything trombone:

  • embouchure issues
  • how to get the most out of an exercise
  • constructive feedback on your playing (mp3 or video links)
  • tips and tricks in general

Your messages are on-to-one with me and 100% private. No AI answers. Just real feedback from someone who has spent 25+ years playing and teaching trombone professionally. I support you on your trombone journey. Currently there are no limitations, and I will work hard to keep it that way.

Get the full-fat app feel on iOS and Android

Here’s how to save it as a bookmark/home screen (for a true app-like feel) on both iOS and Android devices.

On iPhone / iPad (Safari)
1) Open Chrome or Safari and go to member.digitaltrombone.com
2) Tap the Share button
3) Choose Add to Home Screen (or Add Bookmark if you prefer)
4) Tap Add

On Android (Chrome)
1) Open your browser and go to member.digitaltrombone.com
2) Tap the three-dot menu
3) Choose Add to Home screen (or Install app if Chrome offers it)
4) Tap Add

Saving it to your home screen removes browser clutter, so it feels much more like a native app.

Prices will increase soon

If you’ve been thinking about joining, now is a good time. New prices will be introduced on April 24, 2026. If you start a free trial before then, you keep the current lower price going forward.

I love feedback

If you try the new app and have feedback, send me a message. I’m improving this continuously.

Over and out, have to go now. There are some favorites in the app that call for me to go practice!

Welcome to the good chops factory.
